Yala Safari
Enter Yala with an experienced safari team focused on habitat, animal behaviour and respectful observation rather than promises of a particular sighting.
Personalised journeys shaped by local knowledge, genuine encounters and a shared commitment to creating a positive future for children in Sri Lanka.
We believe the most meaningful journeys are not simply about the places you visit, but about the connections you make along the way. Sri Lanka is an island of extraordinary landscapes, ancient culture and remarkable diversity. But for us, its true character lies in its people. In the conversations that happen unexpectedly, the places you would never find on your own and the moments that make you feel connected to the country rather than simply travelling through it. This is why we created Saviva Lanka Humanity Travel. We design private, personalised journeys that bring together your individual way of travelling with the knowledge, stories and hospitality of the people who call Sri Lanka home. There are no fixed packages to fit into. We listen to what matters to you and shape each journey around your interests, your pace and the experiences you want to take home with you. At the same time, we believe tourism should create value on both sides. We work closely with local drivers, guides, family-run businesses, carefully selected hotels and experience providers, building relationships based on trust, fairness and long-term cooperation. So when you travel with us, your journey becomes more than a holiday. It becomes an exchange — between traveller and host, discovery and understanding, experience and impact. That is what travel that matters means to us.
Your route, pace, accommodation and experiences are selected around your interests, available time and budget. No two journeys need to be the same.
Our planning and operations are based in Sri Lanka. Local knowledge helps us choose the right places, seasons, routes and partners for a more genuine experience.
From your first enquiry until your departure, you have people who know your journey and can support you before and during your stay.
We favour reliable local businesses, independent hosts, knowledgeable guides and experiences that allow tourism income to remain within Sri Lanka.
We seek respectful wildlife encounters, culturally sensitive activities and a balanced pace that protects both the guest experience and the places visited.
Saviva Lanka Humanity Travel intends to contribute approximately 10-15% of its annual profit to its own Swiss charitable association and selected projects supporting children in Sri Lanka. Contributions are made from company profit and are not presented as a fixed donation attached to each individual booking.

The travel company and the charitable work are connected by a shared belief: Sri Lanka’s beauty should create opportunities for the people who call it home. Alongside the local economic value created through our journeys, Saviva Lanka Humanity Travel allocates approximately 10-15% of its annual profit to a Swiss charitable association and selected initiatives for children in Sri Lanka. The association supports carefully reviewed projects and to communicates openly about how funds are used. The contribution is based on company profit, not a guaranteed percentage of every booking. This distinction allows us to describe our commitment honestly while building a model that can grow responsibly over time.
You do not need to know the perfect route before contacting us. Tell us what you enjoy, how you like to travel and what you hope to take home from Sri Lanka. We will help turn those ideas into a coherent personal journey.
